So many people that I know are going out of town (or in the case of Nate and PIGHEAD, out of STATE) for the weekend. To that, I say... "ENVY. :(" Seriously, I've not left California, much less FONTANA, for longer than a day since... what, '98? Ow indeed. Contrary to what mother says, lounging around the house for the 2-3 week breaks between semesters is NOT a real vacation. It'd be insanely awesome to at LEAST go to San Diego or someplace beachy... or to Colorado for Pighead-kidnapping er I mean Nan Desu Kan, that's going down in September and VAs of awesome are to appear there. :( But alas, Yoshi = ass-broke AS USUAL, and Chaffey's gonna rape us all again when it comes time to pay for Fall semester crap. RAWR.

Also, California weather still blows. General heat would be tolerable... but heat + MUGGINESS? No. Just... no. >_<;;;

Tomorrow will likely see more artistic RAMPAGE in Painter... not sure of the exact nature yet, but there will be ownage! Perhaps an Instant Ramen might appear? Onoes!

Anyway! On the console RPG front... I'm facing a bit of a dilemma. I kinda want to replay Lunar 2. I mean... Leo, Jean and Hiro (or, at least, Hiro in the very beginning and the epilogue) are INSANE amounts of awesome. >:D However... I cringe at the thought of having to deal with Lucia and carting her worthless ass around for 80% of the game. (Those of you who know anything about my Lunar fandom is that I absolutely CANNOT stand Lucia... it's not a VA thing, because she sucks in Japanese as well. She just... irritates the shit outta me with the pansiness. Seriously. WHAT THE HELL.) That little detail also saddens me greatly because, ESPECIALLY in the Playstation remake, she is disgusting amounts of USELESS and unlimited amounts of suck. Hate. Rawr. She also has this weird thing for making Hiro instantly turn from badass into "pathetic drooling horny dog" and thus making him uncool. Thus Lucia FAILS at everything. :( (for those of us kids who never played the SegaCD originals, there was a point in which Lucia was actually remotely useful and even had the potential to be cool despite her annoying-ass perma-Guest Mode. Plasma Rain, kids. PLASMA RAIN. It was rape. It was the only good spell she had, and it got NERFED in the remake, which nailed the SUCK coffin shut.)

...first person who tries to compare RT!Yoshi to her dies. >_>;; Yoshi in Ragnarok TWILIGHT-- totally not saying this because she's my character if you're wondering-- is ten billion times cooler than Lucia will EVER be since we don't have all that "omg I've never associated with people and don't know what emotions are yet I apparently have them ANYWAY!" crap going on... that, and Yoshi is well aware of her own destructive power-- hell, she freakin' designed a spell that she knows would probably be lethal for her to cast (Judgement) and is totally fine with that. I could also name a few other fictional characters from other entities that could be easily be described as "smelling like Lucia" but are infinitely more awesome than she will ever be. (Subaru from .hack, anyone?)

Raah. ...what, I know I get all pissy whenever this comes up. There are only a few RPG characters I hate this much. I'll not go into that any further for fear of being owned by an angry mob. >_>;

It's almost 4am. Even though the weekend for me begins (and yay tomorrow = pizza!), I really need to sleep... after I make my usual rounds of 4chan just because! :O I also need to install one of the awesome icons Jessie made of the last Instant Ramen (leaning towards the animated one of SEVERE WAI) tomorrow.
